Smile with Shiv stood united with the UK Duchenne community in demanding the early availability and full funding of Translarna by NHS England. Translarna is potentially the first ever Duchenne drug to be approved and although not applicable for Shiv’s specific mutation, generic viagra it will help 11% of Duchenne boys. In a well-attended lobby at Westminster, Duchenne charities along with families and individuals living with Duchenne were joined by a multitude of MPs and peers, eager to acknowledge and publicise the importance of Translarna and understand how imperative it’s availability is to Duchenne patients
